This gentleman was very much into Italian wines before they came into vogue with the universally strong 1997 vintage. He prefers to buy in quantity each vintage from his favorite producers necessitating a cellar cleaning periodically to make room. With his intense love of Italian food and wine, coupled with his compulsive buying habits, I advised him recently to open a restaurant and I think with his good taste it would turn out rather well should he set on that course.
