There a scattered discoloured retouchings in the face of the sitter and small scuff marks along all four margins. Inspection under ultraviolet light is impeded by the fluorescing old varnish, and only reveals small pinprick retouchings, notably in the sitters face and along the left margin. The picture is in overall fairly good condition.
