FIVE POLYCHROME-GLAZED OBJECTS17th-19th century
Comprising a sancai-glazed figure of a seated immortal wearing a green robe over a yellow underrobe and a purple belt, a ruyi scepter resting against one arm, the smiling face framed by a long beard and an official's cap, the reverse with a circular aperture; a famille-verte figure of a Daoist sage standing atop a rectangular pedestal, the patchwork robe colorfully enameled, holding a fly whisk in one hand, the head slightly bowed and donning an official's cap; a famille-rose figure standing atop an oval pedestal wearing colorful armor under a black tunic, the right arm raised to hold a weapon, the face with an animated expression and curly beard, donning an elaborate hat; a small gu-form vase painted in famille-verte enamels with mythical creatures, prunus blossoms and bajixiang against a swirling emerald-green ground; and a famille-verte fu-character-form ewer and cover, the central panel with the poet Li Bai on one side and an attendant pouring wine on the other, the body painted with an aubergine and green floral scroll against a black ground, the handle and spout with a faux-basketry pattern in aubergine and black enamels.
