Beschreibung:

Finn Juhl (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989) Very rare set of six Brazilian rosewood chairs. Seat and back upholstered with light wool. These examples made approx. 1960s by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, all stamped by maker. (6) Very rare model made by Vodder. The model is basically a variation of Finn Juhl's “FJ 46” armchair, without armrests, or a refined cabinetmaker version of the more common “BO 63”. From 1945 and onwards Finn Juhl worked with different variations on the same theme. The present model thus has clear kinship with the chair Juhl designed approx. 1945 for J. Anthonsen. Provenance: Present set of chairs and “Judas” table, lot no. 812, acquired simultaneously by original owner. Condition Condition report available on request.
