This rare complete crate of 4 100-round British Bren machine gun Mark I magazines is complete with the wooden loading with holding plate for loading these magazines, winding handle, and bracket. This crate would have been issued during World War II for anti-aircraft use. Continuous fire being the goal, without needing to change out magazines. CONDITION: Magazines are near excellent in grease with associated tools also near excellent in original chest. Original inventory sheet intact on underside of lid albeit turning yellow and brittle with age.
