Two works in 1 volume. Late edition of the 3rd part of the famous English maritime atlas. The charts as described by Shirley for the edition of 1771 with the exception of 1 additional chart depicting the coastline of the Bay of Marseille. - Slight overall browning, insignificant staining in places, little marginal fraying, expertly restored. Bound in modern half-vellum, gilt letterpiece to spine, old endpapers preserved. - Owners inscription in ink ‘Isaac Heard of the College of Arms, London 1789, formerly in his Majesty’s Navy’ to free endpaper.
