ELVIS PRESLEY COAT FROM "GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS" Paramount, 1962 A nubby beige raw silk blazer worn by Elvis as he portrayed Ross Carpenter in the film that also starred Stella Stevens. Single-breasted with three front pockets, this piece has interior labels reading Jerry Rothschild Beverly Hills, Calif. and Tassar Chadar Pure Silk Hand Woven in India and is seen in the sequence when Elvis goes to the Pirates Den club to sing 'The Chains That Bind.' Also included is a videocassette of the film, the original slide that the USPS used to create the famous Elvis stamp where he wears this same jacket, two sheets of Paramount Studios letterhead and two vintage Elvis Christmas cards addressed to John Garo, a longtime Paramount Studios set designer who received this jacket as a gift from Elvis himself.
