Lovely and colorful advertising piece for Edwelweiss Beer, from the P. Schoenhofen Brewing Co. of Chicago. The brewery opened in the late 19th century, and operated until 1924. While much of the original brewery has been lost, the impressive Powerhouse building still stands, over an ancient aquifer. This fan illustrates a Pinocchio-like golfer (except without strings) about to drive the ball. Lot Amendments Condition: Handle a bit rowned with age, very faintly rubbed at edges of card stock; very good. Item number: 255009
