Sold as seen. 'Not long before [Drake's] death his scientific interests appear to have revived and he wrote Anthropologia Nova, or, A New System of Anatomy. It was said to have been published by his wife, the author and medical practitioner Judith Drake. It was a very popular treatise and ran to three editions in the next twenty years. It is a sad reminder of the great talent that Drake sacrificed to politics' (ODNB).
