II, very occasional light spotting, small loss to upper corner of p.257). Contemporary olive-black straight-grained morocco tooled in gilt and blind, with later Botfield arms. Dickson's famous dictionary of horticulture with Sydenham Edwards plates, was published in a number of guises. First published in 1807 as A Complete Dictionary of Practical Gardening and again in 1812 as The New Flora and The New Botanical Garden , the work includes many American plants.
