a pair, both oil on canvaseach unframed: 37.8 x 52.8 cm.; 14⅞ x 20¾ in.each framed: 48.9 x 64.6 cm.; 19¼ x 25½ in.(2)Condition reportBoth canvases are lined, the paint surfaces are clean, and the varnishes are clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals numerous scattered retouchings throughout both canvases, most notably around the margins of each, but they are sensitively-executed and the legibility of the images is not at all affected. In overall good condition.

Another version of the S. Giorgio Maggiore view by Richter is recorded in the archive of the Fototeca Zeri.1
