The collection includes: CHRISTIAN II (1513-1523). Letter signed to Floris van Buren, Count Anthonie van Hochstraten, Johan te Bergen and others at the Burgundian court, 8 October 1526, relating to the military situation in Italy at the time of the capture of Cremona by the French under the Duke of Urbino in the previous month, including an account of the situation received by Georg von Frundsberg (commander of the Imperial forces) from the Duke of Bourbon, and details of the difficulties encountered by the Imperial army, 1¾ pages, 4to, integral address panel ; CHRISTIAN III (1533-1599). Letter signed to an official, 19 August 1533, about a payment of 1200 marks, ½ page folio ; FREDERICK II (1559-1588). Letter signed to his brother, 29 June 1571, urging the reconciliation of a family dispute, 2½ pages, folio ; CHRISTIAN IV (1588-1648). Autograph letter signed to an unidentified correspondent, 27 November 1645, expressing concern about the supervision of one of his daughters, one page, 8vo ; FREDERICK III (1648-1670).
