Curley (ca 1856-1923) was a member of the Crow nation and served as a scout under Custer during one of the most famous battles in the west. Hailed as a hero and cursed as a coward, he is a controversial historic figure whose reputation vacillated during and beyond his lifetime. He is one of the only surviving members of Custer's command at the Battle of Little Big Horn and is buried there. Condition: Toning to image.
