The first volume belonged to L. Stephens Christ Church Oxon. and was bought at his Sale. The second volume was met with accidentally and they were afterwards bound together. It is probable the two volumes of the same Edition published by Benjamin Cooke are not in any Musicians Library in England. To a Professor of Music this Book is invaluable..."
