Engraved title vignettes and 326 engraved plates, one of these hand-coloured, some folding, some double-page. (Some spotting.) Contemporary polished calf by Ph. Selenka (vols 1-8), some vols with his ticket, sides panelled in blind and gilt, and publisher's original boards (vols 9-10), printed labels on upper sides and spines (spines of vols 7-8 with some discolouration, spines of vols 9-10 with some wear at the spine ends, spine foot of vol. 10 torn but holding). FIRST EDITIONS, MOST IN SELENKA BINDINGS. This richly illustrated catalogue includes reproductions of marbles in the Elgin and Townley galleries, and fine views of the Parthenon and the Temple of Apollo Epicurius.
