Two plates repaired in margin, other light spotting to some plates but generally clean, text foxed and dampstained at rear, cloth rubbed, sold as is; Together with an 1869 document signed by president U.S. Grant, appointing Charles Cassin as an Assistant Surgeon in the Navy.
