Lot of 18. Framed money order, Scituate (MA), Nov. 28th 1768. "Mr. Elisha Lewis Pleas to let Joseph Ellmer Jur. have one Pound Twelve Shillings and one peny half peny lawfull money and you will A blige [oblige] your friend Samuel Holbrook." 2 x 6 in. sight, framed and double-glazed to 7.5 x 10 in. Order to survey land, June 15, 1767. 6.75 x 8.25 in. Cumberland Co., [PA] to George Woods Deputy Surveyor. Order to appraise a Bay Mare, 14 hands high, branded W. Fincastle Co. [VA], Jan. 30, 1775. Approx. 4 x 7.5 in. Order to attach property to cover a debt. Fincastle Co. [VA], 30 Jan. 1773. 8 x 8.25 in. According to the docketing on verso, among the items taken was "one middels of bear meat." Copy of a land claim dated 9 June 1770, for 200 acres on the north fork of "Tomack" (Potomac?). 4 x 7.5 in. Partially printed DS, power of attorney, Suffolk Co., MA, 21 Dec. 1802. 6.75 x 8.25 in. Promissory note, to pay Samuel Davis 19 Dec. 1769. Aoorix. 4 x 7 in. Four bounty claims for wolves: Botetourt Co., 1 June 1770; Fincastle Co., 16 Dec. 1773; Fincastle Co., 9 Apr. 1773; Fincastle Co., 13 Apr. 1775. Summons, 30 May 1774, Fincastle Co., for John Neil to appear. Signed John Byrd. Summons, 12 May 1774, Fincastle Co., for William Morgan to appear. Signed John Byrd. Memorandum of debt, Virginia, 25 May 1769, Samuel Willson. Promissory note, 12 Dec. 1798, John McDougal in "current money of Kentucky." Plus second copy basically the same debt.
