Most backmarks and other photographers' identification from upstate New York: Norwich (by far, the majority), Binghamton, Utica, Oneota, Little Falls, Mt. Morris, Deposit, Cincinnatus, Cazenovia, Albany, Ilion, Bainbridge, plus a few others. There are also a few identifications: Frank W. Pendleton, Dec. 25, 1904; C. Hallagan, J.J. Shea, F.W. Fredricks, R.L.McGeorge, aged 76 years, 1892 (with Washington, DC photographer), W.F. Dixon, Frank Waters, E.E. Stockton. One young man has a tie-pin/tack with crossed lacrosse? sticks (with shortened handles), and several of the young men appear to be college students.
