Fred Muggs, Mary Pickford, and Cornelius Vanderbilt. Other images of note feature idiosyncratic nineteenth-century newsmakers Jennie Cramer, Josie Langmaid, and Chloe Lankton, as well as Josephine Mansfield and Edward Stokes. Homicide fatalities Cramer ("New Haven's Beautiful Victim," 1881) and Langmaid (the "Murdered Maiden Student" from Pembroke, NH, 1875) are represented by cabinet card and two CDVs, respectively, while a CDV published by J.C.
