Cover: Lee Elias. Art: Bob Powell, Howard Nostrand, Mort Meskin, Tom Hickey. Last issue with new stories. House ad featuring Black Cat Mystery 50 (melting face) and Witches Tales 25 (human head bell clapper). GPAnalysis: No reported sales in this grade. A 2.5 sold for $500 in 5/21; a 3.5 sold for $309 in 12/19. Classic "hand-from-the-grave" cover. This mag is almost impossible to find in high grade, with most copies resembling the tattered corpses depicted within. The CGC census shows 23 Blue Label copies, only two of which are graded higher than 6.5. "[Chamber of Chills #24] is the worst condition Harvey comic in my collection. Since I've been trying to upgrade it for nearly a decade, I have to suspect that there is a scarcity of high-grade copies of it, for reasons completely unknown to me.
