Cannon (Richard). Historical Record of the 50-56th, or The West Essex Regiment of Foot: containing an account of the formation of the Regiment in 1755, and of its subsequent services to 1844, 1st edition, London: Parker Furnivall, and Parker, 1844, engraved general title, three hand-colored lithograph plates, all edges gilt, yellow chalk-glazed endpapers, contemporary gilt decorated burgundy full morocco, few minor marks to joints, but generally a very good copy, 8vo, together with [S. Rogers]. Loyante m'oblige. Historical Record of the Eighty-First Regiment, or Loyal Lincoln Volunteers, Gibralter: Regimental Press, 1872, two hand-coloured and one tinted lithograph floats, tipped-in before title, contemporary diced maroon morocco, heavily rubbed and scuffed, plus Trimen (Richard). An Historical Memoir of the 35th Royal Sussex regiment of Foot, 1st edition, Southampton: Southampton Times Newspaper and Printing Company, 1873, six coloured lithograph plates, tissue-guard to each, modern maroon half morocco gilt, authors presentation copy, inscribed to front endpaper 'John Middleton from R. Trimen', and additionally signed above 'Henry Trimen 21 Oct 1873', and four others similar: Thomas Carter, Historical Record of The Twenty-Sixth, or Cameronian Regiment, 1867, with contemporary presentation inscription to head 'G.H. Wilson 26th Cameronians 16/12/67/A.V?? USS??, 6/9/85', Thomas Carter, Historical Record of the Thirteenth, First Somersetshire, or Prince Albert's Regiment of Light Infantry, 1867 (both the last two works re-cased with the original spine laid down), John R. Hume, Reminiscences of the Crimean Campaign with the 55th Regiment, 1894, author's presentation copy inscribed to front blank 'Charlotte Hume...with affection regards from the Author, 1896', & J. Redding Ware & R. K. Mann, The Life and Times of Colonel Fred Burnaby, circa 1887, with presentation inscription to head of title 'Eulania E. Burnaby F.R.
