Holms), 44mm (Brodie 392); St Martin’s Ploughing Society, 1897, Champion Medal, an engraved award, named (Presented by Ex Lord Provost Whittet, won by James Brand), hallmarked dm Edinburgh 1896, 50 x 35mm (Brodie –); Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland, silver award medals by A. Kirkwood (2), named (D. McGilchrist, for Ploughing, 1898; Wm. Sorley, for Ploughing, 1914), both 30mm; Glasgow Agricultural Society (Inst. 1851), a copper award medal, unsigned, un-named, 44mm (Brodie 80ff); City of Edinburgh & Midlothian Rifle Association (Inst. 1861), Caledonian Challenge Shield, a bronze award medal, unsigned [by Kirkwood], 37mm (Brodie 488); Royal Scottish Society of Arts, Makdougall Brisbane Prize, a bronze award medal, unsigned, un-named, 50mm (Brodie –; cf. DNW M14, 2085); Glasgow East End Industrial Exhibition Association, 1903, a silver award medal by J.A. Restall, named (G.B. Waddell, Executive Council), hallmarked Birmingham 1903, 35 x 22mm (Brodie 343); Kirknewton, Currie, Ratho and Mid-Calder Ploughing Association, an oval silver engraved award medal by W. Aitken, named (1st Prize, 1909, Presented by the Society, won by W. Lawson), hallmarked Birmingham 1908, 75 x 51mm (Brodie –); Morrison’s Academy, Crieff, a bronze Merit award medal by J.
