Contemporary calf over wooden boards, tooled in blind to a panel design of two vertical intertwined pattern strips within a similar frame, original vellum title label on upper cover, later(?) brass clasps and corner-pieces, spine in four compartments with raised bands (slight worming, spine neatly repaired at head and foot).
