Biondi, Giovanni Francesco. An History of the Civill Warres of England [Bound with] The Second Part of the History of Civill Warres... London: for John Benson 1641; London: for Richard Whitaker 1646. 11" x 7.5" Two volumes in one. No engraved title as usual, this copy lacking leaves 161/2 and 167/8 and apparently never bound in. Full paneled calf with title on label in gilt. Short crack to upper part of hinges, minor scuffs and loss at head of spine, early ink signatures to title and pastedown, text very clean and bright throughout though the later section has some very faint staining, last two leaves with inner/upper corner chipped removing several words from top four lines of text. A very clean example overall though imperfect.
