Some restoration and rebacking to the double page hinged color plates, although they are still bright and strong and "show" well. Brass clasps in excellent working order. Hinges cracked and with some loosening to the binding. In all, based on a survey of auction records over the past 15 years, a better than average example of this massive and impressive Dutch Illustrated Bible.
