First editions of Belon's two works as edited by Charles L'Ecluse. Woodcuts after Pieter van den Borcht. The first work constituting an account of singular plants encountered in Belon's extensive travels -- [SANSOVINO, FRANCESCO]. Della agricoltura di M. Giovanni Tatti Lucchese. Libri Cinque. Venice: Francesco Sansovino 1560 [colophon:1561]. 4to, 200 x 147 mm., contemporary limp vellum, minor stain to fore-margin of about 30 leaves . FIRST EDITION.
