Lomasney collection. Lomasney (1899-1989) worked briefly as a set painter for Warner Brothers and Paramount studios but in 1936 relocated to Hawaii where he found employment as a staff artist of the Royal Hawaiian Treater chain. Lomasney used the theater one-sheet posters and studio stills as inspiration and created one-of-a-kind posters to be displayed in their stead. Over his career he created more than 800 such displays.
