Dutch sculptor Tony Andreas (1944-2019) attended the Applied Arts School in Amsterdam (1962-67) and Saints Martins School of Arts in London (1968-69). From 1971 onwards he taught at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and created numerous sculptures in public space. This lot highlights Andreas' early work which includes: Photo documentation of sculptures (1964-67) contained in 2 orange Agfa boxes with 49 large b/w photos and 17 smaller photos. Description of the works hand written in pencil on verso. + 12 sketchbooks from 1968 made at Saints Martins School of Arts. 18 x 13.5 cm. + Eight catalogues of solo and group exhibitions by Tony Andreas with newspaper clippings. Heavily soiled and creased. + Aaron Scharf, 7 montage type posters printed black on white of various sizes in 1968. Scharf studied at Saints Martins, later he became known for his landmark publications and BBC series about photography. Heavy age wear on most items, three are in good condition. Rare. + 2 posters, 57 x 44 cm, printed on brown paper. One features a concrete sound poem Uhu Yoohoo. Both heavily aged, with wear and tear. + Added: Carl Andre Light Wine Circuit.
