With fold-out index map, maps of Yosemite Valley and the Grand Canyon, etc. This copy lacks the folding sheet with maps of San Francisco and Los Angeles on either side, which should have been loose in a rear endpaper pocket. OCLC/WorldCat locates only two copies of this Vol. 8, at the California State University Chico, and the Livonia, Michigan, Public School.
