A very fine and rare 18K gold openface jump hour calendar keyless lever watch, made for the Maharaja of Patiala Signed Audemars Piguet, No. 39585, bow signed Cartier and numbered 05748, circa 1930 With nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the gold dial with apertures for the jumping hours and minutes, three windows for the jumping day, date and month indication, in circular case, the snap on back centred by the inlaid black enamel coat-of-arms of the Maharaja of Patiala, case and movement signed Audemars Piguet, bow signed Cartier and hand-stamped with Cartier reference number 47 mm. diam.
