The lapels & cuffs accented with buff-top calibre-cut sapphires. His square-cut ruby pants are edged with baguette diamond cuffs completed by gold spats over black enamel shoes. In the Sommeliers left hand is an articulated bucket with a green enamel champagne bottle & diamond ice cubes, while an emerald edged serviette is tucked under his arm. A black tray is balanced in the waiters right hand topped with two triangular-cut diamond champagne glasses, signed Yard, c. 1935, ap. 6.9 dwts.
