Lot of 60+ including: One 1933 bound copy of the early anti-Nazi poem, "Hitler's Dream" by B. Morgenstern, presented in English and Hebrew. 16pp., translated by William H. Schreiber, New York. Poem features dialogue between characters "Haman," "Hitler," and "Pharaoh," identified as Ramses II. One anti-Nazi, anti-Communist pamphlet titled "The Fifth Column Conspiracy in America," published by the Constitutional Educational League, New Haven. Pamphlet presents a lengthy "Roll of Dishonor," listing groups or movements that are described to readers as "Danger Spots in Your Community." That list includes numerous unions, workers' organizations, ethnic and religious groups, etc. Readers are urged, "Keep your eyes open . . . and if suspicious happenings come to your notice or if any of the organizations named herein are involved in questionable activities it is essential that a factual report be made without delay..." Pamphlet folds out into a map, 35.75 x 23.5 in., titled "The Fifth Column Menaces America on a Thousand Fronts," copyrighted by the American Map Co., Inc., New York, 1941. Map shows the United States, with major cities marked, and symbols marking the locations of those "menacing" ideological epicenters such as "Communist Central Headquarters," "Nazi Propaganda Centers," "Italian Fascist Centers," "Bund Camps," "Communist Training Camps," "Native Fascist Centers," and others. One anti-Hitler novelty pop-up postcard titled "See What Happens to Adolf!" New York: D. R. & Co., 1943. Postcard features instructions reading, "Lift Heel from bottom and Prepare for a Surprise!" Below text, a black and pink illustrated shoe heel featuring a caricature of Hitler hangs, only connected to card at top. Heel lifts to reveal a fold-out illustration of Hitler being flushed down a toilet, along with the text, "Where He Belongs! The World's Biggest Heel." Post card housed in an envelope with matching illustration on obverse and text reading "Greatest Laugh Novelty Ever Originated!" below illustration. Five colorful anti-Hitler novelty "Art Tone 'Glo-Var' Finished" postcards, 5.5 x 3.5 in., featuring comical scenes of Hitler getting beaten up by a female soldier. Des Moines: Beals, n.d., ca 1940s. Captions include, "We're Giving 'Em a Big Wac," "I'm Bringing Home the Bacon," and others. One postcard even depicts the figureheads of the Axis Powers, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Emperor Hirohito being kicked off of the ground by the female soldier, with a caption above reading, "We're Really Going to Set 'Em on Their Axis!" One satirical pamphlet titled "Last Will and Testament of Adolf Hitler / Alias Adolf Schickelgruber." New York: D. R. & Co., 1942. The satirical will features a list of nations and people to whom Hitler left things behind, including "The Jews" to whom he left, "a new Holiday, which they will celebrate annually." Text continues, "The whole world knows I was Kind to them but they somehow did not seem to appreciate it." The final line of the will reads, "My Final Wish is that I be buried in an asbestos suit, as I will need it where I am going." The will is dated and located, "Very Soon. / Germany" at lower left. Reverse side of pamphlet features a cartoon titled "Right In Der Fuehrer's Face!" The illustration shows Hitler being hit in the face with a large disc labeled "At Least 10% In War Bonds," with a large arrow aiming toward the center of the disc, labeled "Everybody / Every Payday." One printed broadside, approx. 5.5 x 8.5 in., promoting donations of "Waste Fat Which Will Be Used In Making Sulfa Drugs To Treat Our Wounded." N.d., ca 1940s. Broadside features a grid of 30 boxes (with the last being split into two halves), each of which features the caricature of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, or Emperor Hirohito. Instructions on the broadside read, "Scratch Off The Enemy With Your Pencil After A Tablespoon Of Waste Fat Is Put Into Your Container. See how fast a pound can accumulate."
