[Annesley (Samuel)] A Continuation of Morning-Exercise Questions and Cases of Conscience, Practically Resolved by Sundry Ministers, in October, 1682, first edition, title trimmed with loss affecting text, becoming loose, lacking sermons 23 & 24 as usual, previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper, occasional spotting and marginal water-staining, 1 or 2 areas of marginal loss, small rust hole (3A4), broken upper hinge, later calf, rubbed and worn, crudely repaired spine, [Wing A3228], J.A. for John Dunton, 1683 § Descartes (René) Principia Philosophiæ, part 1 only (of 3), collation: a-b⁸. A-L⁸, 3 folding engraved plates only (of 11), trimmed, occasional affecting headlines, ink signature scored out to title, previous owner's ink inscriptions to blank and end pastedown, one or two tiny rust-holes, free endpapers detached, later calf, rubbed and worn, defective spine, remnants of clasps, J.F. for Jonas Hart, 1664; 4to & 8vo (2)
