* An Italian Baroque Walnut Table 17th/18th century and later having a rectangular top above the frieze fitted with three paneled drawers carved to show repeating foliate decoration over the scalloped skirt with a carved edge, raised on turned legs joined by similarly worked stretchers and ending in flattened ball feet. Height 31 1/4 x width 88 1/2 x depth 28 1/4 inches. Estimate $ 2,000-4,000 Property from the Estate of Paul Marchetti, Lemont, Illinois The top with filled age cracks and filled deteriorated areas, as well as an uneven matte vs. varnished surface. Worming and scratches/scuffs/chips throughout. One foot heavily worm-eaten with large losses. Sturdy and usable overall. Drawers and their support rails re-built, probably in the 19th century or early 20th century. Overall the table appears 17th/18th century with some later alterations. One drawer pull missing. Width 88 1/2 inches; depth 28 1/4 inches.
