An exhibition quality finished 5 inch gauge model of the L.M.S. Black Five 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender 'Ayrshire Yeomanry', No.45156, built by Mr R Flower from Model Works castings with silver soldered boiler and fittings including water and pressure gauges,two sight glasses, two injectors,safety, whistle, clack and blowdown valves, Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, fluted connecting rods, axle pump, mechanical lubricators. Six wheel tender with imitation coal panel, hand water feed pump and brake. The model is finished to a very high standard in British Railways lined black livery with fitted steps, hand rails and lamp irons. It has been run in steam for approximately thirty to forty hours. Boiler No.344. Original Boiler Certificate dated 16th of February 2004. Hydraulic tested to 220 psi. Working pressure 90 psi. Current Hydraulic test certificate from Leicester SME No N 809005 Test Pressure 135 psi. Working pressure 90 psi. Expires the 19th of April 2010. Steam Test certificate No ST 802725 issued by Leicester SME 90 psi. Expires 18th of May 2008. Length 173cm. Width 24cm.
