An English green-japanned and brass-mounted striking eight day table clock Mid 18th Century, with later adaptations With pierced frets above glazed side panels, the rectangular brass dial now with added arch applied with strike/silent and regulation rings, matted centre with mock pendulum aperture and later signature reserve inscribed John Magson/Essex Street London , the associated five pillar movement with twin line and fusees, now with anchor escapement, strike on bell, formerly with pull repeat, the back plate engraved with birds and flowers; composite, case, dial and movement associated; pendulum, two winding keys 17 in.
