AN EGYPTIAN INSCRIBED BRONZE FIGURE OF A KNEELING NAOPHOROS PRIEST 6TH-4TH CENTURY B.C. Shaven-headed, wearing broad collar, holding a naos with figure of Osiris(?) within, with inscribed back pillar, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high; a bronze pair figure of Anhur and Mekhit, the god wearing a four plumed crown standing beside his lioness-headed consort, Mekhit, who wears sun disk and uraeus, circa 4th-1st Century B.C., 3 in. (7.7 cm.) high; a bronze figure of a striding man, with short wig, Middle Kingdom or later, 4 in. (10.4 cm.) high; a bronze stamp seal of King Xerxes I, in the form of a cartouche surmounted by a sun disk and double plumes, with arched handle on the back, 485-465 B.C., 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) high; a bronze square seal, "Amen-re", 2nd-1st millennium B.C., ½ in. (1.3 cm.) sq.; a bronze openwork ankh (life)-sign, 1st millennium B.C., 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high; and a miniature wooden shrine, containing a late Dynasty XVIII faience 'bead', Graeco-Roman, circa 4th-1st Century B.C., 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high (7)
