An Edwardian silver ewer by Elkington and Co., Birmingham 1906, with an angular handle, the body with a girdle, cut card decoration, engraved with a presentation inscription, a crest and two armorials, on a circular moulded spreading pedestal foot, 25cm (9in) high, 1343g (43.2 oz) Provenance: Hall Place, sold on the instructions of the Executors of Sonja, Lady Hollenden (nee Sundt) This is a replica of a ewer presented by William Allington to the Company of Fishmongers in 1676.
