An attractive large Chinese silk embroidered Peking Opera panel, late Qing Dynasty, circa 1900-1910, depicting actors in character as warriors, edged with blue silk and also lined in navy blue silk in the later 1930’s, the silk panel 315cm x 67cm Provenance: Purchased from the estate of the late Gordon Creighton (1908-2003). His first post was as an attaché to the British Embassy in Beijing where he later became First Secretary.
