An Annaberg stoneware pewter-mounted jug CIRCA 1700, THE PEWTER MOUNT DATED 1724 Kurfürstenkrug , the baluster body moulded in relief, gilt and enameled in colours, with three oblique Kerbschnitt panels, one depicting a king on horseback upholding an orb, further with large palmettes, the flat cover with coin of Johannes and inscribed 17 G F W 24 , with ball thumbpiece, connected via the handle to the mount of the foot 27 cm. high
