Accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America jade identification certificate number 2175343009, dated October 15, 2015, stating Species: Jadeite Jade, Color: Green, Transparency: Translucent, Treatment: Natural Color, no indications of impregnation. 5.00 dwts. Jade characteristics: slightly mottled green hue, slightly dark to medium tone, strong saturation, moderate to moderately strong translucency, with one cloudy area towards the edge on one side. The cabochon has several superficial scratches that are visible at 10x magnification. In the opinion of the gemologist, the jade shows internal characteristics that are consistent with natural jadeite jade that has not been color enhanced. There are no apparent fractures visible at 10x magnification. It is the opinion of the gemologist that this is type A jade and there is no evidence of polymer impregnation. The diamonds are G-H in color, VS2-SI2 in clarity.
