All eight members of the group have signed the limitation page. Peter Decker has additionally inscribed the limitation page, twice, once for Frederick W. Beinecke and later for William S. Reese. The lengthy inscription to Reese reads: "For my young friend William S. Reese an enthusiastic collector and student of American history, especially the beginning and expansion of ranching on the Western Plains, with the sincerest regards of one who made the trek along the Oregon Trail 100 years after the first immigrants blazed the Train.
