When Spidey rushes off with the mortally-wounded Captain Stacy, trying to get him to a doctor in time, uncomprehending onlookers accuse him of murder: "It was SPIDER-MAN'S fault! He KILLED him! And NOW — he's taking him AWAY!" Sadly, Spidey kind of deserves half of the blame for this one. After all, he sprayed Ock with special signal-blocking web fluid that caused him to lose control over his tentacles, resulting in a toppled chimney, a dead father figure, and another layer of guilt burdening Spidey's tortured psyche.
