Mounted to original card (slightly soiled), photographers' stamp below the image lower right, annotated in pencil lower right corner. Giacchino Altobelli and Pompeo Molins worked together between 1861-1865 and were known for their early picturesque views of Rome. Molins' photo studio in Palazzo Negroni-Caffarelli was completely destroyed in a fire in 1893. – Some retouched spots, otherwise a fine tonal print in very good condition.
