Engraved additional title with uncoloured vignette and 18 hand-coloured aquatint plates by E. Duncan after H. Alken and T.J. Rawlins. (Plate 8 slightly frayed along foremargin.) Original green pictorial cloth gilt, gilt edges (recased, gilt block on cover rubbed, some light rubbing to extremities and a few discrete repairs); folding quarter red morocco case. Provenance : J. Smith and Son, Glasgow (ticket) -- acquired from Walter Hill, 1929.
