A well engineered model of a Marshall semi-portable engine with riveted copper boiler with expanded-in tubes and fittings including water gauge with gauge glass protector and shut off-cocks, level test cocks, pressure gauge, two safety, blower, whistle, clack, blowdown and other valves and fire box washout plugs and folding chimney. Engine details include single cylinder 1¼ in. bore x 2in. stroke draincocks, (loose) , studded stuffing boxes, bar type crosshead guides, bolted wedged big end with split brasses, counter-balanced crankshaft, valve eccentric with adjustable cut-off, wire rope driven governor and linkage with adjustable valve, eccentric driven feed pump, pipework and valves including exhaust feed water pre-heater, spoked belt pulley, spoked flywheel and whistle. Additional details include single cylinder shuttle valve feed pump No740 with displacement lubricator, draincocks and by-pass, frame mounted water tank with draincock, grate riddle mechanism and damper (one hinge pin missing) , finished in green with red, black and white lining, black and polished brightwork.
