A well engineered 5in. gauge model of the LMS Rebuilt Scot 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No.6109 'Royal Engineer', built by H.N. Pennington with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including twin water gauges ( one with glass protector ), pressure gauge, safety, blower, twin injector, whistle, steam brake, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include three cylinders with independant sets of Walschaerts's valve gear, finely fluted motion, cab controlled draincocks, cylinder head pressure relief valves, mechanical lubricator, twin eccentric driven feed pumps and bypass, steam operated brake gear with pressure gauge, whistle, two injectors, fine riveting, dummy sanding gear, lubricators, glazed cab windows, smoke deflector plates, steps, hand and lamp irons and other details. Tender details include hand operated brake gear, injector water cocks ( operated by dummy tank vents) , hand feed pump, bypass valve, tool boxes, drawbar buffers, steps, hand and lamp irons and other details. Finished in LMS red livery and lining with various head boards -- 35.5 x 180cm. (14 x 71in.) . With three boiler certificates expiring on: 10.03.86, 07.12.82 and 02.80 See Illustration (2)
