A Victorian Ornamental Elizabethan pattern part flatware service, each piece engraved with an armorial and crest, comprising: three tablespoons, six table forks, eight dessert spoons, twelve dessert forks, twelve teaspoons, two salt spoons and a sauce ladle, Francis Higgins, London 1871; and a set of six Edwardian teaspoons with finials formed as helmetted figures, Walker and Hall, Sheffield 1909 and 1906 - 90oz. (A Lot) According to Silver Flatware by Ian Pickford, Ornamental Elizabethan pattern is a rare mid 19th Century pattern incorporating renaissance and later decorative motifs. The design was registered on the 21st December 1852 and was produced by Francis Higgins for Hunt and Roskell.
