A Victorian brass-bound oblong ebony dressing case inlaid with an elaborate monogram and with fitted outer leather storm cover, lined in tooled blue leather and blue plush, containing twelve silver-topped glass toilet jars and bottles, each engraved with a monogram on a circular cartouche surrounded by turquoise matrices, two of the jarswith screw down lids, with a matching beaker and a agate-handled button hook, the lids and the beaker engraved with animals, birds and arabesques, the mounts by J.B., London 1871, the dressing case with Bramah lock and concealed jewellery tray - length of dressing case - 14½in.
