Patent' and with a game bird on each rounded tail, the heads of the sear pins on the outside of the lock-plates, engraved case-hardened serial numbered primers each struck 'F Patent', and 'R' and 'L' respectively on the inner surface, figured walnut half-stock (minor chips and bruises), chequered grip, iron mounts with characteristic engraving and retaining traces of original blue, silver escutcheon and barrel-bolts escutcheons, and brass-mounted ramrod: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including correct cylindrical powder-flask, Sykes copper flask, interchangeable parts and a case-hardened iron wrench numbered 2782, all for converting the gun to standard percussion ignition, three circular wooden boxes containing respectively grease, felt washers for the primers, and pistons and nipples, two wood collars each with plug for the rollers, an iron washer-cutter, and a leather wallet containing an ivory priming flask, an ivory brush and an iron combination tool, the interior of the lid with illustrated maker's trade label of the fourth design for 1816 to 1830, the exterior with flush-fitting carrying handle and circular escutcheon, and leather travelling cover, London proof marks 76.2 cm. barrels
